… you hang up picture frames and never change out the “Hallmark-looking” photo inserts that came with it. Yes, it’s hard to believe, me of all people would do such a thing, but it’s true. And honestly it hasn’t bothered me that for the last few weeks they’ve been hanging in my hallway that way. I guess I wanted to see how the frames would all look together, and then maybe once I saw them on the wall they would call out, “Place a photo of that sunset here!” or “Put a shot of those children on the beach in here!” But alas I am picky. And busy (hence the reason I haven’t posted for a few days).

So I’ve been waiting for the right photos to come along that would all work well in the frames I have so neatly placed on the wall in a collage. Yes, people have seen them hanging like this, and yes they have commented. But to my surprise it doesn’t bother me. I just say, “Yeah, I have a great idea for that one…” meaning, any idea would be great compared to these phony shots that say ’5×7′ over this picture of an unknown beach in an unknown location that I have never been to.

But  now that I have more friends coming into town this weekend I think it’s time to finish this project up so I can hear them say, “Wow these look nice,” instead of “Do you know these people?” I just have to laugh really. It’s just plain humorous to me.
