Alright Bailey, you may have heard that today is a BIG day for the Packers and the outcome of the Super Bowl will probably determine whether your usually respectful owners will be able to make it home tonight. Now we’ve never made you wear silly outfits, obnoxious scarves or dangling bling, but I think today an exception needs to be made.
Now we know you like to eat cheese, if given the opportunity you surly would lap up a 30-pack of Miller Lite, and you’ve been to the frozen tundra once (even though it was during summer and we think you’ve gotten a little soft being in Florida for so long), but there’s one thing every true Packer fan should do. With that being said, and your inability to talk back and prove your alliance, we’ll place our holy cheesehead (it is holy…it was at our wedding) on your head as a sign of your loyalty.
Staaaaay, staaaay, gooooood…
Okay, the big triangle foam “toy” never really touched her head, but she is wearing her green and gold.
I think Bailey taught us a valuable lesson today, that cheese was not meant to be put on a dog’s head.

I love how she’s tilting in the last photo. Relieved the cheese is sitting safely behind her? Happy Super Bowl Sunday!
Yah, I think we were lucky it came away in one piece.
Congratulations on the win! I don’t like the Steelers, so definitely was rooting for the Pack. :-)
You’ll appreciate this story: My best friend is a Jaguars fan (she lives in Jax). Several members of her family are huge Packers fans and there’s a bit of a rivalry. She went to a Monday Night Football game several years ago between the Pack and the Jaguars and called her aunt and uncle to brag about it.
The following Christmas, there was a HUGE wrapped box with her name on it under the tree. She was told she had to wait for the extended family to get there to open it, that it was something special.
Her grandfather gave a long speech about how this was a family heirloom passed down through the generations to the most deserving family member. The speech was beyond sappy. My friend was in tears.
She opened the box.
And pulled out a Cheesehead. :-)
What a wonderful story! Thanks for sharing and that would make a wonderful gift to pass down, Haha. Maybe my husband and I will do that since we got ours at our wedding.
