I recently photographed newborn baby Abigail and she came just in time for her parents to put her in the most adorable Easter outfit. There’s something about a foofy tail on a baby’s butt that gets me. She slept through much of the session which allowed mom and I to have a little, or a lot, of fun. We got dad and big brother Aeden in on the fun too, and I couldn’t be happier for this great little family and their newest addition!
Just as I introduced our furry child Bailey on this very platform, I now introduce our newest addition Avery Lee, aka. Captain Adorable. At this point in his life he really doesn’t have to do much to obtain that title because adorable comes naturally to him. He’s two months old today so yes, that means I’m behind on this introduction, but I feel like I don’t have any explaining to do. You know what I’ve been doing these last eight weeks. And although I may be behind on posting, I’m not behind on capturing his every little move.
The above photos were taken today to commemorate two months, and these are his best moves at this point. Legs and arms flail while on his back, and he can pick his head up just enough to give me a look of “Really mom…you’re gonna just watch me face plant…again!?” His head can raise about an inch higher than pictured, which I think is pretty impressive, but I’m his mom so every thing he does is impressive. And that goes without saying because all new moms can agree that before you know what’s hit you, these little people wiggle their way into your heart because they have the cutest _____ (fill in the blank; possibilities are endless) and you start spewing out photos all over your Facebook. Soon every status update is consumed by them and you see nothing wrong with that.
So I’ll take this moment to do what all moms love to do, and post lots of photos of our new son who we adore. These were taken for his newborn session at eight days old and then one month.

Just recently it was my pleasure to photograph Easton again, but this time for his eight month photos, and I discovered him to be the same, cheery little boy he was when I first met him. This time he was a little more mobile so we were able to get some “action” shots.
One thing that did keep Easton entertained was the leaves. There always seemed to be one within reach that caught his eye.
And big sister Aubrey was along for the fun, so I couldn’t resist getting a brotherly-sisterly love shot. I thought the below was a bit of a precious moment.
A little while back I spent the afternoon picnicking with the cutest little 6 month old, Kenleigh. She also just happens to be my niece, so this session was particularly special. There were a lot of interesting things to see and apparently taste on this picnic, but all that fun got exhausting and there was an impromptu nap that needed to be had. I had no problem with that because Kenleigh looked just as precious as she slept.
I have a feeling you’ll be seeing more of this little one, but for now, you’ll have to settle for these shots from the day…
A couple of weeks ago I got to meet one very cute four-month old, Easton, along with his lovely older sister Aubri. There was no shortage of smiles from this little guy so we had a lot of fun capturing his happy personality on camera. I could tell that Easton had practice in front of the camera, because he wasn’t bashful at all–so thanks for making my job easy mom! And every now and then big sis would join in on the session to check on her brother and give me a few quick smiles. Overall, this family of four made it easy for me to get some wonderful shots and I’m glad I could be a part of capturing this precious time in their lives.
