You just never know what kids are gonna throw at you on a photo shoot, but when all they do is throw you smiles and poses, you take it! That was the case while photographing Peter. It was all smiles and laughs for this little guy while we explored the park. And once he got into the grove, we couldn’t stop all the adorable poses he flashed us all on his own! Even a little sprinkle of rain couldn’t dampen the mood. We went from one tree, rock or bridge to the next, and Peter even made some friends with a couple of passerby’s, but who wouldn’t want to get to know this face? Enjoy!

Aeden’s Photo Session {6 Months}
It’s been pretty amazing to see Aeden grow from when I took his newborn photos to just a week ago at his six month photo session. He’s growing so tall and developing his own little personality, which made it fun and entertaining to photograph him as we discovered what got the giggles out of him and what didn’t. We got some great photos with mom and dad outside, too. Overall the session was a blast, and I can’t wait to see this little man again when I have to actually chase him around for photos, which won’t be long I’m sure.
Easton’s Photo Session {4 Months}
A couple of weeks ago I got to meet one very cute four-month old, Easton, along with his lovely older sister Aubri. There was no shortage of smiles from this little guy so we had a lot of fun capturing his happy personality on camera. I could tell that Easton had practice in front of the camera, because he wasn’t bashful at all–so thanks for making my job easy mom! And every now and then big sis would join in on the session to check on her brother and give me a few quick smiles. Overall, this family of four made it easy for me to get some wonderful shots and I’m glad I could be a part of capturing this precious time in their lives.
Aeden’s Newborn Photo Session
A few days ago I photographed baby Aeden at 15 days old for a friend of mine, and we had such a great time posing him and chuckling at his little personality. To start, he seemed pretty awake with his eyes open looking around at the bright lights and strange person in his face– me. But eventually, he began to doze off with the help of mom’s voice and touch. Go mom! I did have to laugh a little when we tried to close his eyes for him, saying “go to sleep now Aeden…”
It’s fun to discover a baby’s tendencies, too. Even with their eyes closed, they tell you yes or no to certain positions, laying their little hands and feet where they feel comfortable. That’s why you never know what types of photos you might get with newborns. Aeden frowned at a hat we tried, and smiled while laying on his side (below)! And it always amazes me when I see their little toes up by their nose, reminding me that I need to go home and stretch more. All in all, it was a great photo session and I can’t thank the family enough for having me photograph their new addition.
Enjoy!
