Infant & Toddler Photo Session

Just after Christmas I got the opportunity to photograph my new niece at 10 weeks and my nephew who is about to turn three. It was a lot of fun and I got to try out some of my new studio equipment too. Kenleigh was a natural, giving me those big eyes and a little smirk every now and then. Keagan was everything you’d expect a three-year-old to be- energetic and full of giggles. He gave me a run for my money, but I managed to snap a few good ones. I think I learned some good do’s and don’t's, and I’m really excited to shoot my next session- enjoy!

Catching the End of Winter

If you’re into cute cheeks and snow, you’ll love this post. As I mentioned previously, I spent the weekend up in Wisconsin (near Sheboygan) and I had a chance to live vicariously through my nephew, who discovered all the fun snow has to offer. Personally, I love the snow and getting a chance to put my boots on and soak my jeans up to my knees was just what I needed. And it was just in the nick of time- the temperature hit the 50′s days later and this particular day you could hear the sounds of melting snow and dripping icicles.

Check out the gallery at the bottom too!

Sledding is all about going fast!

Simulating snow falling seemed like a good idea at the time.
